Tradelab is a french Start-Up specialised in RTB (Real Time Bidding) and online advertising. Expanding and reaching new markets, they conacted me so I can take care of creating and handling their new website.
WordPress
Tradelab already had a website based on WordPress. It’s normal thet they wanted to keep this platform for their new website. WordPress allow theirs different teams to update the website without any web coding knowledge.
Original Design
What made this project difficult but exciting, is it’s uncommun design. Indeed, the graphics were all done internally by their team.
Design for the Home Page – Tradelab
From squares, interactive data to bright colors. This website was a real graphical challenge. It is still today one of the website I’m the proudest in terms of design.
Tradelab and I were rewarded by many online contests. Mainly with a Marcom award giving us a 8,5/10 grade and the frenchy awards for its design, UX and originality.
An uncommun design does not mean inusable. The website is completly responsive and can be browsed on Mobile and Tablets.
Project Management
During this mission, I worked with Laura Micheneau. I managed the whole development, delais and every customer relationship. They had strong requirements about design.
Integration & Multilingue.
This project is not only complicated by its design but also all the features inside. It’s integrated with different 3rd party services (SmartRecruiters for job ads, Mailchimp for newsletter subscription… ). The website is also available in 6 different languages (French, English, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese…) and this number evolves as the company grow.
A whole SEO and speed optimisation has been done during this mission.
Conclusion
Bastien has an excellent sense for business and is able to handle considerable responsibility. He is certain to add considerable value to whatever he is tasked with.
